Long time Highlands County, Florida residents (or tourists) will remember "The Cathouse" fondly. From the 1970's to the early 2000's, "The Cathouse Restaurant" was a popular roadside attraction! Known for housing THOUSANDS of cat trinkets, and situated right on the Downtown Sebring Circle- "The Cathouse" was a beloved stop for locals and tourists alike.
The original location has seen different diners go into where the iconic "Cathouse" used to operate since they closed in 2003.
The location is now beautifully refurbished in honor of the original "Roanoke Hotel" that operated when the building was first built, bringing it back to its roots! The spot on the corner of the S Commerce Ave. circle "spoke" now offers an Irish Pub downstairs.
FAST FORWARD TO NOW
"The Cat House Cat Café" is opening right down the road from the original location, at 160 S Commerce Ave in Sebring Florida!
We'll be opening with a PURRfect twist... REAL kitties instead of kitty trinkets! We'll have the trinkets too... including some vintage original pieces from OG "Cathouse Restaurant"!
All of this served up with café drinks, teas, snacks, and light eats so you enjoy every visit to the fullest!
Our owner is a lifetime lover of cats, and honors "The Cat House" not only in a piece of Sebring history, but also in memory of her kitty cat lovin' Aunt and Uncle who adored cats, who's legacy included donating to animal sanctuaries and always supporting cat adoptions.

Meet Tofu
Tofu is our first resident kitty at "The Cat House Cat Café, and she's PAWsitively excited to meet you all! She was rescued by our furriends at CudaBears Lair Animal Sanctuary and will be a kitty you can visit on repeat.
